Independent booking service
JpRail.net is an independent booking service and is not a railway operator. Railway names and marks belong to their respective owners.
Booking acceptance
Search results are an invitation to submit a booking request. Availability and fares are rechecked when the order is created, and ticketing confirms your final travel document. A saved or paid order does not by itself guarantee an issued ticket. Review the current status in your secure booking and contact support if the requested journey cannot be confirmed. Do not make a duplicate payment while its status is uncertain.
Traveler responsibility
Check the exact stations, date, departure time, adult and child counts, seat class and contact email before paying. Arrive in time, meet any entry requirements and follow the railway conditions attached to the ticket. Children needing their own reserved seat require the appropriate ticket. Measure bags and request any required oversized-luggage arrangement in advance; the availability of ordinary seating does not guarantee luggage space.
Prices, requests and ticket delivery
The total and currency shown before payment apply to your order. Your bank may apply its own exchange rate or charges. Seat location, adjacent seating and oversized-luggage space are requests until confirmed during ticketing. A payment receipt is not a boarding document. Follow the issued QR, collection or gate instructions, keep all documents until you leave the destination station, and contact support if ticketing remains incomplete.
Changes, disruption and fair use
Refunds and changes follow the booked fare, its deadlines and our Return Policy. A request does not confirm a cancellation or a new departure. For delays or cancellations, retain the ticket and follow the operator’s instructions. Local transfers and separately booked connections are your responsibility unless expressly included. Do not misuse ticket codes, attempt unauthorised order access or disrupt the service. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Payment and order status
A payment may succeed while ticketing is still in progress. Check the secure order for its current status and use only the issued ticket or collection instructions for travel. If the payment page closes, times out or gives an unclear result, check the order and your payment account before trying again; contact support if the status remains uncertain.
Order messages and support
Use an email address you can access and check messages about your booking, including the spam folder. Keep the order number and issued documents so support can identify the journey. A support request does not itself change a ticket or extend a fare deadline; wait for the confirmed result before making new travel arrangements.
If a ticket cannot be issued
If the selected train or fare cannot be issued after payment, check the secure order and contact support to review the actual payment and ticketing state. An alternative journey or a refund, if available, depends on the order and fare conditions. Do not treat a suggested alternative as confirmed until a new ticket or clear confirmation is issued, and do not make another payment while the first result is unresolved.
