Check eligibility, fees, deadlines and the steps for requesting a change or refund.

Before ticket issuance
Cancellation eligibility depends on whether ticketing has started and on the selected fare conditions. Contact support immediately; a request is not confirmed until support accepts it.
After ticket issuance
The booked product, railway conditions, ticket usage and departure deadline determine eligibility. Railway cancellation charges, disclosed service fees and other applicable deductions can affect the refundable amount. A request close to or after departure may be restricted or unavailable. Support will explain the applicable amount before an eligible refund is processed; a general guide is not a refund quote.
Disrupted services
Keep all ticket documents and follow railway instructions. Refund eligibility depends on the operator policy and supporting evidence, such as cancellation notices or station confirmation. Missing a train or a separately booked flight or connection does not automatically qualify for a refund. Ask support to review your specific ticket before buying a replacement on the assumption that it will be reimbursed.
How to request a change or refund
Open Find your booking with your booking number and email, complete verification, and review the secure order. Use an available change or refund quote action, or contact support@jprail.net with the booking number, departure date and requested change. Request as early as possible: deadlines use the departure station’s local time. We will explain the applicable eligibility, deductions and fare difference before an eligible action is processed. A request or quote is not a completed refund, and does not extend the deadline.
Collected tickets and refund timing
Tell support if you have collected paper tickets or used any part of the journey; this may alter eligibility or require a different procedure. Keep all documents until instructed otherwise. If a refund is approved, it is normally returned through the original payment method. Approval, provider submission and bank credit are separate stages; timing depends on the payment provider and bank. Ask support for the current status if the advised timeframe has passed. No universal free-cancellation period or fixed refund percentage applies to every product.
Several travellers or partly used journeys
If only one traveller or one segment needs to change, identify the affected traveller count and journey segment when you contact support. Whether a partial change or refund is possible depends on how the tickets were issued and the fare rules. Do not assume that cancelling one part leaves the remaining tickets unchanged; wait for the specific quote and confirmation.
Pending requests and payment history
After submitting a request, keep its confirmation and check the secure order for updates. Do not submit the same request again while it is pending. If the booking has already been changed, partly refunded or paid for with an additional charge, ask support to reconcile the current ticket and payment history before relying on an automatic quote. A refund notice and the credit appearing in your bank account are separate steps.
